Bhatta Falls

Bhatta Falls is a recently developed picnic spot near Mussoorie. Located at about 7 kms from main Mussoorie city, Bhatta Falls is still untouched by commercialization and has natural stream of water flowing down the hills.

Mussoorie Lake

Mussoorie Lake is the freshly developed tourist spot developed by the City Board. It is an ideal destination or boating or a day out for a picnic. This is regarded as the A one lake and is visited by a number of visitors all round the year. There are some shops that sell eateries here.

Camel's Back Road

Camel's Back Road is one of the most visit locations in Mussoorie. A peaceful and calm walk in the lap of nature will assure absolute peace and calmness. It is a 3 km long road and is called the Camel Back Road because of the presence of the natural layout of the rocks that are in the shape of the camel humps.

Kempty Falls

Kempty Falls is said to be one of the most prominent waterfalls in Uttarakhand. The falls are encircled by a high mountain cliff. Since the waterfalls from a great height, it is believed that this water further divides into 5 different streams. Being present on the Mussoorie-Dehradun Highway, the Kempty Falls attracts a number of tourists from across the country.

The Mall Road

The Mall road is the central hub of the Mussoorie and is definitely a must visit on your trip to the city. It has a bunch of places, couple of things and plenty of activities to do when on a vacation to the Mall Road.

Mossy Falls

Mossy Falls is one of the most pretty places to visit in Mussoorie. Set amidst dense green forests, the falls cascade down from a height of 145 meters, sending up white mists all around. The falls drop from the height of 20 feet, 17 feet, 19 feet, 12 feet, 20 feet and 57 feet respectively, though not all drops are visible from one clear angle. If you wish to see all the drops, you will have to undertake a considerable amount of hiking around the falls.

Lake Mist

Lake Mist is one of the best places to visit in Mussoorie that you cannot miss. It is a pristine lake, fed by the waters of River Kempty and is home to a small but pretty waterfall whose gurgling adds music to the scenic beauty of the lake. Set in the midst of the green hills, Lake Mist is a good place to spend a few hours. There is also a boating facility available so people can go and explore the lake in close proximity. The best time to go on the lake would be early on a weekday since the place witnesses a huge rush from the visitors on weekends, which makes it noisier and more chaotic.

Gun Hill

Gun Hill is one of the most prominent tourist attractions for tourists who visit Mussoorie. It is the second-highest peak in Mussoorie. Irrespective of the time of the month, do carry woollen clothes with you. Views from the top of the Gun Hill peak are bound to leave you spellbound.

Lal Tibba

In the local language, Lal Tibba means the Red Hill. This is said to be the oldest and the most populated place in Mussoorie. The place is known for its scenic beauty courtesy the pleasant sunrise and sunset that leave the visitors spellbound. Do carry woollens irrespective of the month of the visit.

Library Bazaar

Library Bazaar is the focal taxi and the bus terminal points to enter the township of Mussoorie. Popularly known as the KitaabGhar, the Library Bazaar is so-called library found in 1843 that is present on the first floor of the fantastic building. This is also one of the few libraries found in India.

Happy Valley

Happy Valley is exceptionally popular for housing the Municipal Garden, IAS Academy and the Tibetan temples. It is very popular for the estates, temples and the gardens. The tourists who visit this place can also take a walk to the Kala School from Happy Valley that leads to the Hathipaon Park Estate.

George Everest's House

George Everest's House is set at the Mall Road and has long been the home to the much popular Welsh surveyor and geographer, Sir George Everest. The geographer just couldn’t stay untouched by the scenic beauty of the Mussoorie and hence planned to live here for thirty years.

Company Garden

This scenic spot is painted with a variety of colourful flowers and an amusement park with adventurous rides for kids. Also known as ‘Company Bagh’, this park is perfect to have a picnic with your lover, friends or family.

Sisters Bazaar

This is a fully loaded market where you can calm down the shopaholic monster in you and buy gifts and souvenirs for your near and dears. It is an age-old market which offers you all sort of traditional as well as modern stuff. You will even find vendors selling ginger tea, omelettes, sweet corn, cotton candy, momos, ice creams, crushes, and many more mouth-watering delicious food items.

Mussoorie Adventure Park

Mussoorie Adventure Park is located in one of the spots in Mussoorie. It offers you a package of adventure like sky bridge, valley crossing, zip line, skywalk, zip swing, Superman ride, Spiderman, Commando Bridge, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, etc.

Disco Skating Rink

Skating amidst the lush greens of deodar and cedar would turn out to be one of the most exciting things to do in Mussoorie. Disco Skating Rink offers you to get on the wheels and roll your feet adjacent to scenic valleys and have a maiden experience which is one of its kind.

Shedup Choepelling Temple

Shedup Choepelling Temple is often referred to as the Tibetan Buddhist Temple. It is today one of the most popular shrines in the region. The temple is established by the Tibetan community of Mussoorie and is a true example of the Tibetan architecture.

Mussoorie Heritage CentreinBt

Mussoorie Heritage Centre was commenced in November 2013 with the idea of preserving and showcasing the Heritage of Mussoorie and the adjoining areas. The Soham Heritage and Art Centre display the tradition as well as the culture of the Himalayas by way of paintings on canvasses, sculptures, frescoes, murals and scrap art.

Mussoorie Christ Church

This magnificent 19th-century church is said to be the oldest church in Himalayan Region. Built-in 1836, this church imposes the beauty of Gothic Architecture. Moreover, the stained-glass windows of the church depict the story of Christ.
